Home

This isn't home.

..

Home is a woodland that
Spreads for miles and miles,
Every inch of which I will someday
Have walked,
And at the end will long to walk again..

And I would brush my hands along every leaf
And watch how each responds-

Where the wind through the trees
And the rustle of leaves
All play the music of you..

And everything is beautiful.

Home is past the golden glow of the third
Lamppost on a deep blue street on
A starry night..

Where inside, a warm fire
And an orchestra of broken strings
All play the music of you..

I've never been there,
Not yet anyway..

But I hear it's beautiful..

..

Home is where nobody has control
Over the sunset or the eclipse-
Where clouds come to practise their shapes
Across miles and miles
Of mountains and rivers
And woodlands and lakes..

..

Where sheer silence
Sings
The music of you..

..

And everything is perfect.

..

Looking around-
This isn't home.

But, I hear the music of you in my soul..
Eternally..

Wrote this while staring at [link] and listening to [link] -- managed to find both again to remind me of stuff-- I don't have any of my crazy music that I listen to while I sleep sometimes over here-- I have these crazy non-lyrical songs that I listen to sleeping then again when awake to kinda trigger memories or whatever.. not the only purpose, obviously but I felt lik sharing that.. the music kinda keeps me sane too.. 'sgreat :j Either way-- these two particular piece were the same that I was looking at/listening to when I wrote [link] , if anybody's interested..

Wanna mention [link] - 'cause I'm pretty sure the title influenced me a good bit on this one.. 'twas definately runnin' through m'mind a whole frikkin' lot anyway.. go faithy! :) (Smile)
