The seasons
are melting.
According to my limited knowledge of English and the haiku form, the gallery description is completely inaccurate and abundant in typographical errors. Tell the GDs, Pach! Nooo. Muuuhuhhee.

I was also under the impression that haiku rather strictly must deal with nature/seasons (not about people- just to blatantise that), which means putting Haiku & Eastern as an option under every category would be erroneous. Perhaps it's just that poems like this one are being facilitated-- here I'm jumping outside of the haiku box, which is actually what creates most of the poem, leaving a very small amount left to the words. I lurve the complexity.

No graphic 'cause I'm not at home and left my poetry graphic .psp image at home, even though I thought I'd fired it on the CD I brought. I'm away, btw. 8 hours behind GMT. The desert! :)

I prefer that this has no graphic, though, as the piece is so minimalistic that I don't want anything diluting it. Even the title is a bit more redundant than I'd like, though it's still essential. It and the categorisation of the poem create a paradoxical rift through which I can channel the two-line message below, altogether forming the poem out of the three elements.

I selected the spiritual category as it connotes the transcendant vibe that I want here. I think I could have dropped the title and selected 'human nature' as the category and achieve the same technical result, but el devart audience doesn't follow the spec. :)

Felt like explaining that one, I did.

I've a good few poems in the bank, but I especially liked this one.

Massive pile of comments to get back to too, which I shall. Just been busy. You'll notice that manifesting itself all across devart shortly. ;)

Love.

Haiku can be about anything- take this ancient one:

Even at the time when
My father was dying
I kept farting

This is a very ancient haiku - so you can see, they have many faces, many ways of being. Nature is just the classical model (the one we are most introduced to). Haiku is for expressing any moment as a moment of "joy"!!!!

Loved the poem.
