If you were rushing to and almost late for the most important meeting of, say, your career
And you saw Jesus on the way,
And he asked you to stop with him to admire and/or bask in the flowers
On some kinda yummy, sunny day..

That'd be weird.

..

I see you've played Knifey-Spooney before..

..

If war is bad
And love is good
Where people die
When evil should

And greed resides
Where giving could:
Why does man post
Where life once stood?

..

Post?

Yeah. Like, a flag or whatever. Imperiamism and all that.

Yeah but, post?

Hey, shut up. I don't tell you how to write..

True.

..

I don't think God would want people to bow to 'im if he approached 'em,
I don't think he's got anything against athiests, coloured folk, gays, remarried folk, or even Microsoft,
I don't think he wants you bitchin' at any of 'em on his behalf,
And I don't think he'd be very good at Pong.

I mean, his hands must be what, a carpark wide?

..

If you were God.. would you ask say, me, to bow to you? I mean, for kicks. Kneeling, songs of praise, the works.

..

Looks like somebody got sidetracked..

..

Anyhoo, more importantly..

If you were rushing to and almost late for the most important meeting of your career or the like
And you saw Jesus on the way,
And he asked you to stop with him to admire and/or bask in the flowers
On some kinda yummy, sunny day,
What would you do?

Hm?

*edits* - bloody apostrophes

Found this amng a few scribbles that never got fully poemified.. I kinda like it. :) I changed a few little things..

I think this loose style works best for me- I'm not gonna do a half-ass structure thing, I'll either write a thing to perfection, or I'll portray its essence in a big mess as best I can.. and I'm not all that gifted at the former.. so I expect a lot more of these if I'm to to poemify the many, many, manymanymanymanymany thoughts going through my noggin' at the mo'.. which is a thing I'd like to do.. which is new, as goes the last coupla months..

weeb.

I would most probably join him. And ask him to call my boss to postpone the meeting. And then ask him to get Liv Tyler up to join in the fun with us. Admiring the flowers of course.

Forgive your enemies. It messes with their heads.

I would say that it has been too long since you have submitted writing!!!

This was...very interesting. I'm not entirely sure what to make of it though. I like it, that's not the point, it's that I find my self fascinated by the way you write. How it seems like there is no structure, but there really is and it's quite clear.

This was really entertaining...and to answer your question...I honestly don't know what I would do.

But I know that I would offer him a smoke.

And the Knifey Spoony thing was fucking priceless. Although, it's spelled knifey. =D (Big Grin) But none the less...that was fucking awesome.

Then memories are films about ghosts.

i'd wanna smell Him, not the just flowers.
but if he insisted on the proxy, i'd be content with it.

(screw work!)
:iconnamaste:
"the just flowers" ...woob, that was smart, laura.
ought to have been "just the flowers", of course.

What would I do? Hmmm, I would most probably take a totally different approach than most (given my belief and I need not get into a long drawn out discussion). I would stop and pick his brains with culteral anthropological questions dealing in the period of time he "lived".....

Looks like somebody got sidetracked....and just like you I started to track on a different path. I remembered 15 years ago a TV program about the victims of abusers. One woman who recovered from the abuse, talked about her ex-husband. How every time she had the courage to leave he would plead with her to come back. He would say he was sorry and that he had found Jesus. On the show, she remarked, "he had found Jesus so many times that Jesus was tired."

The leading cause of death among film photographers is exposure.

Film photographers often suffer from mixed emulsions. ---horrible puns from my husband ~novispoon ;-)

Trippy man..... :) (Smile) I like it. 'Tis very well done, and a fascinating read.

What would I do... I'd take the opportunity to get a bit of direction in a number of areas. Put that omnipotence to good use.

Thumbs Up Great stuff...

I would probably stop, and listen to him. then I'd show him this, out of sheer irony. I love the randomness of this... it's great!

I'd ask him for some ID.

Then I'd take his number only I really have to dash, see.
