Escape Plan

Silver didn't like himself sometimes; being near-immortal and not really finding anything new about himself wasn't always a barrel of laughs.
He won't go back in time to reverse the procedure. He knows what happens when you try. Others have tried, though... not everyone is a big fan of Silver, including some folks with time machines and a lot of time. They'd love to see him off the scene. Operation Universifix went from 70ish to 90% coverage around the timebubble he joined. They're at a steady 98% now. They still can't get any coverage around the beginning of the timeiverse: they're waiting for another hero.
They've had many heroes come and go. They're all still around, in a way. You can catch them in their future missions. The old protocol says you can visit anyone on their future missions, past missions, anywhere - as long as you don't say a word about what gets them in the end.
But really, it makes no difference - they can see it in your eyes. They know you know. And they wouldn't listen anyway. They all know it's coming at some point. If they can timetravel around it, they will - rescuing themselves, provided they have the timestones, skill, stamina - but eventually something will get them. It's a matter of time. Not like normal time - more like running out of alternative eventualities until there's only one left.
Everyone who time travels starts to realise this.
It can be frustrating. Everyone thinks you can infinitely just jump through time and fix everything. Nature keeps you under control.
Because of this, many believe that 100% coverage will never happen.

Some are working on an escape plan.

Silver was thinking most of that at the moment Jesse teleported out of town. That wasn't supposed to happen. The whole Universifix system failed.

But the pancakes; they were like sunhoney. They were perfect.
